This online community aims to help facilitate the discussion of sustainability and the triple bottom line and what it means to your business, organization or personal life. We hope to serve the pros and neophytes as we all discover and implement and live sustainability.
Since this Web site is all about building a community, we’ve included several features in this site that will undoubtedly prove an invaluable resource and serve as a vehicle for interactivity with the broader community.
Please take some time to post your sustainability events to the MiSustainable.com community calendar. The calendar is a vehicle for you to get the word out about your upcoming meetings, seminars and events aimed at the practitioners of sustainability across the state. Once it’s posted, users will be able to click on a link and save it to their personal calendars as well as post it around the Web on various social networking sites.
We’re also hoping to facilitate an ongoing discussion about sustainability through a couple of different channels. We have a blog feature where TBL’s Joe Boomgaard will be sharing sustainability related news, and we encourage others to sign up and share as well.
In addition, MiSustainable hosts a discussion board for community members to ask questions of one another and hopefully find ways to work together toward common solutions. Please post even the smallest question – everyone had to start out on this journey toward sustainability and the veterans have a lot of knowledge to share.
